Phil Brown

Founder

Phil is the founder of mypaintmatch.com. Originally trained as a product designer, he later moved into tech, where he now builds tools that help designers and homeowners bring their ideas to life. A lifelong fan of interiors and design, Phil built mypaintmatch.com to solve a problem he kept running into himself. Whether scrolling Pinterest or walking around London and spotting a beautiful interior, he was constantly wondering: *what paint colour is that?* That curiosity led him to build the Find a Colour tool, making it easier to identify paint colours from the interiors and inspiration people love. Since then, mypaintmatch.com has grown into a one-stop tool for an entire painting project — from finding inspiration and matching colours to planning and getting the project delivered. Phil is passionate about good design, practical technology, and making the process of creating beautiful spaces a little easier.
